Quentin Forshey

Quentin D. Forshey, 96, of Ashland, passed away Wednesday, December 25, 2019 at the Community Hospice Care Center.

He was born October 29, 1923 in Rinard Mills, Ohio, a son of the late Win and Bay Holland Forshey. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Gilbert Forshey.

Quentin was a member of Old Orchard Christian Church and retired from Precision Frame and Alignment in Catlettsburg.

Survivors include his loving wife of 70 years, Gloria Baker Forshey of Ashland; daughter, Connie Allen and husband, Joe of Ashland; sister, Nadine Filipkowski of Woodsfield, OH; and a granddaughter, Kelli Allen of Columbus, OH.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 29, 2019 at Steen Funeral Home Central Avenue with Pastor Joey Kennedy officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park.


Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. Sunday, at the funeral home.
